We will be holding a community meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at 25 Cole Ave. Members of the FBI team, special victims group, local police and the school department will be present to answer questions and provide information regarding the recent events†with a staff member.
Dear Parent(s) or Guardian(s),
As the holiday season approaches so does the season for winter storms. I would like to remind you of our process when calling off school or releasing students early when school is in session. School cancellation notices will be posted on the following television stations and the following radio stations:
- NEWS CENTER 5
- WHDH-TV 7
- FOX 25 TV
Please monitor your favorite station to ensure that you are fully informed about school cancellations.
I will try to make a decision as early as possible to allow you time to accommodate child care needs. However, you should have a plan in place regarding school cancellation or the early release of students from school because of weather conditions. Any change in student information since the beginning of the school year should be updated with the school your child attends.
As always, the final decision for sending your child to school during inclement weather is yours. If you decide to keep your child home because you are concerned about weather conditions, the school district will work with your child to provide assistance for any makeup work.
Thank you for your continued cooperation. If you have any questions do not hesitate to contact your child's Principal.
Acting Superintendent of Schools
